All my life, I have always had this passion to help and to serve the aged and the less fortunate. However, I never dreamed that I would one day walk the path of wellness and vitality to empower those around me to transform.

About Nisha

My father was a soldier and a great warrior who goes to war courageously. I would hear stories of him fighting the war and serving the country until he was shot which left him wounded and was forced to retire early from the armed forces.
After his retirement, his health deteriorated – he suffered from high blood pressure and several instances of stroke before he was paralysed and bedridden throughout his life.
As a young girl at that time, those were vivid memories of my father. Finally, at the age of 68, a stroke took his last breath away. Tears welled up in my eyes every time I thought of this.
If only… stroke could be prevented, high blood pressure avoided… My father could have lived longer and enjoyed his old age in a fruitful manner.

This led me to research the cause of high blood pressure and stroke and to look for ways to prevent it. I believe I found the way miraculously.
What I found was appalling …

High blood pressure and stroke is genetics and a family history of it could increase your risk. Yes. I could likely be a potential candidate for high blood pressure or stroke if I did not take care or do anything about it.

Furthermore as I age, the risk of high blood pressure and stroke increases.Although men are more susceptible, women stand a higher risk after menopause. Here’s what I did.
Unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, stress are some of the common causes that will lead to high blood pressure and stroke.

Obesity, diabetes and those with high cholesterol are at risk of high blood pressure and stroke.

Smoking, high alcohol consumption and sleepless nights could lead to high blood pressure and stroke as well.

Change your lifestyle to change your life.

One of the main changes I made was on my diet. I began to search for natural, wholesome food and supplements that are vital for my body and wellness. I found a good detox to start with on a daily basis.

I discovered that many of the risk factors are interrelated and addressing one may have a positive impact on others. A very good example was to move and exercise my body and to keep my gut healthy.

Hence, lifestyle modifications such as maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, not smoking and limiting alcohol intake can significantly reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke.
